We had a great cleanup on Suzie Ebert Island Saturday morning. It started off cool but got hot very quickly. We did a good job at our first attempt at trying to recycle aluminum cans. We had 10 volunteers and collected 3 bags of aluminum cans and 7 bags of trash. The picnic afterwards was a great time as well! Thank you to Joel Collins for letting us park at his house and use his boat and a huge thank you to the Hite’s for hosting the picnic at there house afterwards. Look forward to doing this again in the fall.
