Jessica Granade is our newest Rotarian.
The weather was perfect for the Fireflies Baseball Game. If you didn’t “glow” with us, you missed a good time.
Tee shirts were delivered at last week’s meeting. If you did not get your shirt at the meeting, swing by Scott Moseley’s Insurance Office at 1345 Lake Murray Boulevard and pick your shirt up. They look and feel great and the price is something you can not beat!! (Call first to make sure Scott is in – 803.781.4700)
We sold sponsorships, we played golf, we did good, had fun and now we are telling everyone…we are helping Saluda Shoals purchase a Boat Swing for their universally inclusive playground.
Remember we have the Fireflies baseball game this week, Friday, July 26.
Tee Shirts are in and they are FREE due to a mixup with printer. Price reduced to $10 and the Board elected to pay for the shirts. You’re welcome. You can pick up your order on Wednesday…there will be a bag with your name and shirt order.
Thomas Kennedy has been approved for membership and will be going Scott Moseley for a Fireside Chat with Scott Moseley. Thomas will be inducted in August.
John Slavich, AKA Veggie Man, is home and adjusting to his new diet and life. His running commentary of Facebook puts a lot into perspective. Sgt at Arms James’s new responsibility is to monitor John’s selection in the buffet. Might be easier to get a shock collar from a local Vet to ensure he remains true to his Doctor’s orders. We’ll see!
This Wednesday we will meet at the Tennis Complex of Saluda Shoals Park to present our $10,000 donation to the Saluda Shoals Foundation towards the Boat Swing of the All Inclusive Playground. (Enter through the gate behind BiLo and Aldi off St. Andrews Road. Meeting and buffet beginning at 7:00-7:15am.)
We will also be inducting Jessica Grande to our Club so you will want to come meet our newest member!
Keeping with tradition, we will not meet on July 31 which is the 5th Wednesday of the month.
