Lieutenant Colonel Orestees (Bo) Davenport (Retired) was commissioned in the U.S. Army upon graduation from East Carolina University in 1990.  His first assignment was as a tank platoon leader, troop executive officer and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer with the 3rd Battalion, 70th Armor and then the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor as his unit transitioned to Fort Hood, Texas from Fort Polk, Louisiana.

 

I currently serve the people of Lexington County and Director of Emergency Preparedness and have done so for 2 years.

LTC Davenport has four sons: Isaiah (17), Eric (15), Ajan (13) and Keon (9).
