Tracey Rankin will be speaking to our club on Wednesday, March 8th. She heard about Happy Wheels, a South Carolina children’s charity, via Facebook. After volunteering and witnessing the program first-hand in Charleston, Tracey knew she had a great passion for it. In 2009 she started the Happy Wheels chapter in Columbia. Three years later (February 2012), she began the newest program in Greenville, SC. In 2012, Happy Wheels became a 501(c)(3) non-profit which enabled Tracey to quit her job and work solely for Happy Wheels. Tracey currently sits as the Vice President of Happy Wheels’ board, is the Executive Director of the non-profit and the Program Director of the Columbia program. Today, Happy Wheels continues to flourish and is supported statewide by many selfless donors and volunteers.
