Our speaker Wednesday, March 21st was our very own “fly boy” Dalton Tresvant. Dalton is an Irmo native and a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Murray-Irmo. He spoke to us this morning about going into his third season with the Columbia Fireflies. He told about different promotional events the park offers during games such as $2 Tuesdays, Wag-Along Wednesdays, and Thirsty Thursday. He also told us about ticket options and group outings. He informed us that the park is opened every day to the public and can also be rented for special events. If you have not been to a Fireflies game or been to Spirit Communication Park you need to check it out this season. Also, you will be in for a treat when you get to see Dalton and the other “fly boys” dance in between the sixth inning. Which he shyly told us how they prepare for that the day of the game.
