Over 350 homes were effected by the recent flooding in the Irmo area. The neighborhood of Pine Glen (pictured) is a total loss with every house damaged to some degree if not a total loss. Also houses in Coldstream and Quail Valley were effected. Our club meets at ICRC – Seven Oaks Park which was used as a temporary shelter for the flood victims. Many of our club members volunteered at the shelter and donated their time. One of our members Mr. Jack Terrell was the main coordinator and was spending the night at the facility. Our area has been hit hard but the community showed their support through donations of food and supplies during these first weeks.
