On December 19, 2014, the Rotary Club of Lake Murray/Irmo Rotary Club sponsored a “Celebrate with a Chief” event at the Irmo Wal Mart store located at 1180 Dutch Fork Road, Irmo, SC 29063. The Rotary Club has donated $400 to two deserving families, selected by the social worker at Irmo High School, to shop for items that they may need to make their holidays a little more cheerful. The Chiefs involved in the event are Assistant Fire Chief John Hendrix of the Irmo Fire District and Police Chief Brian Buck of the Irmo Police Department. Also in attendance were some of the Rotarian’s from the club.
