You’re Invited- As a member of a local Rotary club, you get a chance to become more involved in your community and to provide aid to other parts of the world through the opportunities that your Rotary club and Rotary International offer. Longtime Rotarians agree that involvement is the key to getting the most out of membership. Regular attendance is essential to a strong and active Rotary Club. Rotarians participate in weekly meetings and community projects, and enjoy the fellowship of community leaders striving for common interests. Chip Lyerly: It is with great sadness that we make this posting. Our club lost a dear friend and founding member on Thursday July 21, 2016.
Chip Lyerly’s service will be held on Friday July 29th, 2016 at 2:00PM at St. Simon and St Jude Episcopal Church, 1110 Kinley Rd, Irmo. Please continue to keep Michelle and family in your prayers.
Chip was an active member of our club and we have many fond memories of his “Service above Self” acts, particularly organizing the youth shadowing project. H
